UG Diploma in Animation Film Design

The Undergraduate Diploma in Animation Film Design is a two-year immersive program crafted to shape the next generation of storytellers, designers, and digital artists. Blending art, technology, and narrative, this program provides students with hands-on experience in the complete animation production pipeline from concept and storyboarding to character design, 3D modeling, and post-production.

Designed for aspiring creators passionate about visual storytelling, the program combines strong foundations in traditional art and design with cutting-edge digital production techniques. Students learn to conceptualize, design, animate, and produce high-quality visual content for film, television, games, and emerging media platforms.

In the second year, learners choose a specialization elective that aligns with their interests and career goals, allowing them to develop professional-level expertise in a focused area of animation and design.

This elective explores the art and craft of sequential storytelling from traditional comics to digital, motion, and interactive formats. Students learn visual scripting, pacing, and narrative design while exploring India’s cultural roots to create original, IP-worthy works.

Advanced Character & Creature Animation

An intensive specialization focused on breathing life into characters through advanced 3D animation performance. Students master body mechanics, acting, facial animation, and creature motion while working with industry-standard rigs and production workflows.

3D Technical Artist

This elective bridges creativity and technology, preparing students to become the backbone of production teams. It focuses on technical artistry lighting, FX, simulations, and digital grooming enabling graduates to build the cinematic visuals seen in blockbuster films and AAA games.

Comics & Sequential Art

This elective is engineered to arm you with the creative, technical, and entrepreneurial skills to dominate the comic arts and visual storytelling industries. You'll move from fundamental drawing and digital illustration to advanced techniques in motion comics, transmedia IP development, and professional production workflows. Our goal is to empower you to conceptualize, create, and publish compelling narratives for a global audience.
