“Services” means all the information and features offered through the Website, such as programme details, admissions, the Student Portal, incubation support, consultancy, research and policy resources, careers, tenders, and any linked forms or portals.

“Student Portal” means the learning platform in the website used by students and faculty.

“Third Party Platforms” means outside websites or apps linked to or connected with the Website, such as the incubation platform, payment gateways, and social media pages.

You must be at least eighteen years old to use the Website. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms on your behalf. You agree that any information you give is accurate, current, and complete.

1. Admissions & Fees: Website info is for guidance only. Application or fee payment does not guarantee admission. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or specific IICT policy.
2. Student Portal & Course Material: Access is restricted to authorized users who must secure their login credentials. All course materials are strictly for personal, non-commercial educational use; copying, sharing, or uploading them is prohibited.
3. Incubation Services: Applications are processed via a partner platform. Final acceptance requires a separate review and a dedicated Incubation Agreement, which takes legal precedence over these general terms.
4. Research & Resources: Information regarding research, technology transfer, and policy work is for general information only and does not constitute professional, legal, or financial advice.
5. Careers & Procurement: Job and tender applications must follow specific listing rules and timelines. IICT reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel any bid or application at its sole discretion in accordance with procurement laws.

Use of the Website, the Student Portal and our online application forms involves the collection and Processing of your personal data for specified purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made thereunder, as updated from time to time.

All Content on the Website, including the IICT name, logo, courses, research papers, policy papers, photos, videos, and the design of the Website, belongs to or is licensed to IICT. It is protected under the Copyright Act 1957, the Trade Marks Act 1999, and other applicable laws.

You may view, download, or print Content only for your own personal and non commercial use, and you must keep all notices intact. You may not copy, republish, distribute, change, publicly display, or use any Content for commercial purposes without IICT's written permission.

Any intellectual property created by students, incubatees, or research partners during their work with IICT is governed by their own specific agreement, not by these Terms.

If you submit material to IICT, such as a portfolio, application form, creative work, tender bid, or job application, you confirm that you own or have the rights to that material and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. You give IICT a limited right to use your submission only to review your application or bid.

The Website may link to or include content from other platforms, which have their own terms and privacy policies. IICT does not control these platforms and is not responsible for their content, features, or practices. Any use of them is at your own risk.

You agree that you will not:

1. Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or break any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act 2000.
2. Give false, misleading, or fraudulent information in any application, tender, or job submission.
3. Try to gain access to the Student Portal, incubation systems, or any restricted part of the Website without permission.
4. Upload or send viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
5. Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of IICT or anyone else.
6. Scrape or use automated tools to collect Content without IICT's written permission.
7. Pretend to be someone else or falsely claim to represent IICT.
8. Post any content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
9. Misuse any AI powered service on the Website to create unlawful, misleading, harmful, or infringing content, or try to manipulate or reverse engineer such systems.

If you break these rules, IICT may suspend or terminate your access, cancel your application, or disqualify your tender bid.

Payments are made through approved banks or payment gateways. IICT is not responsible for any delay or error caused by banks or payment providers. Fees are shown in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.

IICT collects and uses your personal information, such as your name, contact details, admission and academic records, submissions, and usage data, according to the Privacy Policy which forms part of these Terms. By using the Website, you agree to this collection and use of your information.

1. “As Is” Basis: The Website, content, and services are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties (including accuracy, merchantability, or non-infringement).
2. No Guarantees: IICT does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access, nor does it guarantee specific outcomes for admissions, incubation, tenders, or careers.
3. Right to Change: Program, fee, and facility information is for general guidance and subject to change without notice. In case of any conflict, official admission brochures, incubation agreements, or tender documents will prevail.

To the extent the law allows, IICT and its staff and partners are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Website, including loss of data or missed opportunities, even if IICT was told such loss was possible.

You agree to protect IICT and its staff and partners from any claims, losses, or costs, including legal fees, that arise because you broke these Terms, misused the Website, or broke the law or someone else's rights.

IICT is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events it cannot control, such as natural disasters, government action, internet outages, cyberattacks, or labour disputes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra will have final authority over any dispute related to these Terms or your use of the Website

IICT may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in its programmes, services, or legal requirements. The updated Terms will appear on this page with a new date. If you keep using the Website after an update, you accept the new Terms. IICT may also change, pause, or stop any programme, scholarship, course, event, incubation activity, or digital service at any time, without any obligation to continue it.
